Mr. Nanny


Given the number of pro-wrestler crossovers these days, I'm not sure if Hollywood will ever cease to find humor in the ill-preparedness of men to handle children. Throughout the history of western culture the man's role in a young child's life has been limited to games of catch on the front lawn. In the past it wasn't uncommon for little lord fontleroys to spend the first years of their life solely with women.*


But thanks to the advent of bottles, gender studies, and the rise of capitalism, now anyone who needs a day job can raise your kids. 


A couple of years ago some celebrities made popular the idea of hiring men to take care of their little ones:
Time ABC
CNN
Most notable is the Time article that claims 2-5% of 1 million child care providers in the U.S. are male. But that was 2002. And this is Brooklyn.
